What is Rooted?
Rooted is a 10-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together in a group of 10-15 people from all walks of life, you'll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. These spiritual rhythms aren't new, or something the church recently created. Every one of them is found in Acts 2 and was found in the early church. Each group will be led by a facilitator who has been trained to help you get the most from your Rooted experience.
What will I do? What is my commitment?
Group members work through a 5-day a week workbook during the 10 weeks. Daily work takes around 20-30 minutes and leads you to spend time in prayer and scripture. Each week your group meets together to discuss questions and thoughts about the week's focus. Groups also participate in a prayer experience and a serve experience together on days other than the meeting day. In order to get the most out of the group, we ask that those participating commit to not miss more than two sessions. If you have conflicting events, you may wish to wait for the next round of groups to join.

What is the difference between Rooted Groups
and Connection Groups?
Rooted Groups do not take the place of our existing open Connection Groups that take place on Sunday mornings. Rooted is a community-building discipleship study for anyone to participate in, whether or not they currently attend a Connection Group. Once the Rooted groups are formed, they are closed groups for those 10 weeks. Some Rooted groups may form into Connection Groups at the end of the 10 weeks.
How will groups be formed?
Leaders will prayerfully form groups based upon registrations. Group members will be informed which group they will be in a week before the launch date.
