The Benevolence Ministry encourages people to a greater faith in God and toward a greater realization of His love for them. We also provide a way for the Benevolence House to corporately help people in need and show God’s love through direct provision of basic needs such as food, clothing, and through referral and/or financial assistance when funds are available.

The ministry helps people in the realization and acknowledgment that all resources and blessings are gifts from God. Just as our salvation, our resources cannot be earned, but are a gift from God. It is also God who calls us to be good stewards of His resources. This encompasses our time, talents and treasures.

The purpose of the Benevolence Fund is to draw people closer to Christ by helping to meet their basic financial needs in times of crisis or transition, according to biblical directives and fiscal constraints. The Benevolence Fund is intended as a source of last resort, to be used when the family or person requesting assistance has explored all other possibilities of help from family, friends, savings, or investment.
