From Temporary Sorrow To Lasting Joy

This psalm is a song of praise to God for His deliverance when the Psalmist cried out to Him from a place of trouble and sorrow. It contains the beautiful line, "Weeping may stay overnight, but there is joy in the morning." It is a psalm that testifies to God's faithful love even when we have been unfaithful and to the joy of experiencing His deliverance when we turn to Him. It offers us needed instruction and great hope and comfort.
